About Perciv AI

Perciv AI develops advanced AI-driven perception solutions leveraging radar technology for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and automotive applications. We bridge the gap between AI algorithms and real-time embedded deployment to build robust, long-lasting robotics software.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software and architecture for radar-based perception, sensor processing, and machine learning models in real-world robotics applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain clean, reliable, and efficient software for robotics and perception systems.

  • Develop production-grade software in C++ and Python, connecting AI algorithms with embedded real-time execution.

  • Integrate robotics frameworks, machine learning pipelines, and containerized deployment environments (ROS2, PyTorch, Docker, Linux).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to maintain high software engineering standards, robust interfaces, and maintainable codebase.

  • Contribute to system design decisions and algorithm integration for autonomous systems.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional software engineering experience in an industry or commercial setting (Medior or Senior level).

  • Programming Languages: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with both C++ and Python.

  • Technical Stack: Experience with ROS2, PyTorch (torch), Docker, and Linux environments.

  • Architecture Focus: Strong interest in software design, clean interfaces, and system architecture.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with embedded systems

  • Experience deploying deep learning models or perception algorithms onto real-time embedded targets.

  • Experience with CUDA programming and GPU acceleration techniques.

  • Familiarity with radar, LiDAR, or camera perception systems.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Clear communication and strong collaboration skills

  • Proactive mindset and comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge radar perception technology in the AMR and automotive space.

  • See your work deployed in real-world aerospace, defense, and industrial platforms

  • Flexible working environment and a competitive compensation package
